Six years in a row: a public fundraising event in a glass house
Every year in the week before Christmas three 3FM dj’s get locked inside a glass house in the middle of a city in the Netherlands to raise funds and nationwide awareness for a good cause. Besides the three dj’s the Glazen Huis, as it’s called in Dutch, gets visited by artists, celebrities and people can put donations in the mailbox.
here is 24 hours live radio, occasional live music and a festive vibe. Inside the portable glass house, which is placed for the occasion, there are multiple rooms with a radio studio, bedrooms and a room for artists to perform. The portable house gets the same festive look as the event.
A LOT collaborated on this event since 2018 for six years in a row with concept, styling and execution and was responsible for creating a Christmassy and homely feeling inside the glass house. Every year the house came to another city with its own theme and challenges. From a homely ambiance in 2018 to a covid-proof setting in a big hangar in the Corona years to a classical Christmas vibe with an abundance of Christmas wreaths and trees in 2023.
