A dreamy opening event in Amsterdam

Looking out over Amsterdam’s historic centre, the IJ river and the city’s skyline from North to West, a new skybar has opened its doors at a rooftop location in the heart of the city. The interior reflects the ever-changing moods of the sky above, featuring cloud-shaped installations and luminous projections that create an ethereal, atmospheric setting.

For the highly anticipated opening, G.O.A.T. Event Productions organised a spectacular celebration around the theme of being above the clouds. A mix of immersive acts, refined bites and uplifting music turned the evening into a magical experience, ending with a breathtaking sunset.

On behalf of G.O.A.T, A LOT was responsible for the local production of the event, including arranging acts and entertainment, and executing the creative concept. The entrance to the opening event at the rooftop bar started in a styled elevator which brought the guests ‘to the Sky’. The entertainment consisted of a contortionist (performer with flexibility and balancing skills) fully dressed in silver glitter, a duo dance act blowing mesmerising bubbles while dancing and beautifully styled hosts gave people a warm welcome and served delicious snacks. There was also a dreamy photo booth, a 360 degrees spinning booth, a musical act by House of Angels and dj duo Lucas & Steve to close off the evening with a bang.
