Amsterdam Diner
Gala dinner for Aidsfonds
Het Amsterdam Diner is one of the Netherlands most respected charity dinners and has been taking place since 1992. The 2024 dinner took place in AFAS Live and hosted 1.100 guests: politicians, members of the Royal Family and prominents from the art and media world. Het Amsterdam Diner is an evening of celebrating diversity and was filled with performances of musicians and ballet, an award show for exceptional work in the fight against Aids and an auction.
In total the charity gala raised €1.200.000 for HIV-control. For the evening the large music hall was transformed into an exclusive dining room with round tables with elegant table decoration and golden chairs.
On behalf of Media Lane and Amsterdam Diner Foundation A LOT was responsible for concept, styling and executing the look and feel of the gala dinner. The theme of the night ‘face the future’ was brought to life via a silver and white setting. From white tables and chairs to 200 centimetres large mirror balls, silver reflecting surfaces and extravagant flower arrangements. Completed with red carpet and the famous Aidsfonds bow which came back f.e. in custom made napkin rings.
